Main purpose of the Role:

The Asset Manager will be responsible for the operations and profitability of assigned renewable energy assets owned or managed by EDF Renewables. As such, the Asset Manager will be responsible for health, safety and environmental compliance, performance monitoring, operations, maintenance, insurance and revenue monitoring, amongst other things.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing HSE and Quality policies management, in conjunction with Site Team, including appropriate incident reporting.
- Ongoing supervision and technical management of infrastructure assets and maximizing the value of the asset.
- Optimising all elements of the asset commensurate with the appropriate risk profile.
- Technical and commercial reporting to investors and other stakeholders and participate in internal review process to report on the current and forecast performance of asset.
- Occasional site inspections.
- Ensuring compliance with site permits and standards.
- Monitoring and reporting of main Site findings and non-conformances.
- Identification, consolidation and tracking of plant performance KPIs.
- Participate in project, customer and client meetings, conferences, and discussions to assure active involvement in the asset's affairs.
- Backup on call for system events and interface with grid operator.
- Ensuring that the plant operating and maintenance standards are met.
- Contract Management of the main project contracts including PPA, IA, SAA, DCUOSA, etc. ensuring legal compliance.
- Represent the company’s interest at the project level to assure maximum profitability and return on investment including participation in the budgeting processes.
- Budget management and cost follow-up.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Managers and supervisors carry both legal and company responsibilities for ensuring the health and safety of their employees, those under their control, and those who might be affected by the work undertaken, i.e., public, visitors and employees of other organizations. This includes ensuring risk assessments are conducted and mitigation measures are clearly communicated and understood by individuals. Managers must also ensure that individuals have the necessary understanding, competence, and application of requirements to work safely and without harming the environment.

- Employees are responsible for ensuring they fully understand the health and safety risks involved in their work activities and their responsibility to apply the controls needed to manage those risks to acceptable levels. Similarly, where work activities can have an adverse impact upon the environment, and particularly where there are legal requirements, employees are responsible for understanding those impacts and the controls they must ensure are applied.

Must-have Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field

Must-have years of professional experiences:

At least 5 years professional experience in managing a plant in operation.

Must-have years of industry experiences:

At least 3 years renewable energy asset management or related work experience.

Technical competencies:

  • Strong commercial judgment and technical acumen with strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities, with a strong focus on results and outcomes.
  • Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Behavioral competencies:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and driver’s license.

Leadership competencies, if applicable:

Ability to steer internal teams and external stakeholders in line with priorities.
